Megan Joy

I'm Megan Joy and I have been a Pilates addict since 2006!  I fell in love with the method and particularly matwork when it became my goal to attend classes at my local studio after a bad back injury that led to years of chronic pain.

After attending firstly matwork classes, then reformer classes the changes in my body and my mind were undeniable and I wanted more and more.  So in 2012 I completed my Matwork teacher training course and began teaching Pilates casually alongside my research job in agriculture.

After teaching Pilates casually for a year I decided to make a complete career change into teaching Pilates. SInce then I have completed my Diploma and Advanced Diploma through PilatesITC, along with advanced education courses in Pregnancy and Post Natal (BASI), ScolioPilates and Advanced Matwork (Stott). 

I run my own studio in Perth with a focus on creating strength, confidence and resilience in my clients, and the community that I have created.

I continue my education and Pilates adventures to ensure I am fit and strong to do all of the other things in life I love, like surfing, horse riding and wrangling my Australian Shepherd puppy Laramie.

Join me as I take you through pre pilates to gain strength and a solid foundation as you progress through to advanced levels of Pilates matwork in fun and easy to understand sessions!
