Lora Rainey
Hi! My name is Lora Rainey, I am an advanced Pilates practitioner with the Spine and Sports Centre East Perth and Rig Pilates; and have worked as a PITC faculty educator and presenter since 2018.
With 15 years of experience in the fitness industry I combine my knowledge of exercise science, Pilates, and dynamic neuromuscular stabilisation (DNS) to my programs to give you a strong, holistic and beneficial session every time.
I believe in strength conditioning, mobility and posture. I have delivered Pilates based sports conditioning programs for teams and individuals but see similar benefits across the population. As a mother of twin boys I appreciate the need for solid programming to include pregnancy /post natal women and to make the most out of your valuable time.
I discovered Pilates after a sporting injury and I have never stopped practising. Pilates kept me strong through my rehabilitation but kept me interested and building new skills, mobility and endurance through life’s challenges.
I hold a Bachelors in Exercise Science from the University of Houston; an Advanced Diploma of the Pilates Method, Diploma of Professional Pilates Instruction; and a Cert IV in training and education.
I am passionate about this project and building a strong diverse community of industry experts.
