Aimee Speak
Owner of Revive Pilates in South Australia, I have been teaching Pilates since 2019 and a previous small business owner of a dance studio of 6 years in Darwin. I am originally from the UK where I grew up in the Dance world, before moving to Australia and doing a small stint teaching dance for a year in Singapore. My dance background has allowed me to integrate elements of movement, grace, and artistic expression into my Pilates teaching, so Pilates was such a natural transition!
With a comprehensive Polestar Pilates Studio/Rehab qualification and a Diploma in Professional Pilates Instruction, I am also an Educator with one of Australia’s leading RTO and AUS active approved providers Pilates ITC. I am passionate about providing the best education for other instructors and clients along their Pilates journey!
My teaching style focuses on empowering clients to connect with their bodies, deepen their mind-body connection, and foster a sense of mindfulness and self-awareness. I prioritize proper form and alignment, while also encouraging clients to listen to their bodies and modify exercises as needed to prevent injury and promote a safe and effective workout. as needed to prevent injury and promote a safe and effective workout.
I have 2 loves for Pilates – the first being, I love to instruct advanced repertoire and find new ways to keep challenging those who are fit and able. The second – teaching people who live with chronic pain and the older population, where making a difference in their day-to-day life is incredibly rewarding. Overall, if I can keep people motivated to include some weekly exercise in their life then I have done my job well!
What I love to do in my downtime is spend quality time with my family and doggo!
Something fun about me that you might not know is I played Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz and Alice in Wonderland at Universal Studios Singapore!
